In his role as the Country Manager at Wantedly, he takes charge of Wantedly’s international business outside of its HQ and home market in Japan. As he leads various teams, such as Business Development, Marketing, and Client Success, Andrew has been able to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, while also driving human capital development. Additionally, he has successfully represented the company as a spokesperson internationally, through various speaking engagements and thought leadership initiatives.

Past notable highlights include growing a travel technology startup, BeMyGuest, (early employee No. 4) into a Series B startup valued at $30m heading regional expansion and product development and more, and setting up One Belt One Road Venture Capital and securing a Tencent Open Platform partnership to invest in SINO-ASEAN start ups.

Having held the responsibility of President of the University at Buffalo (UB) Alumni Singapore Chapter, he led the chapter to achieve the highest alumni engagement score among all international chapters and created the first UB Alumni Chapter Scholarship and Endowment Fund. To honour this community leadership, Andrew was nominated to the Board of Directors of UB Alumni Association to expand the network and build more successful partnerships.

Throughout Andrew’s professional experience, he has always dedicated time and energy towards social impact. He has built CSR efforts from scratch and driven annual team volunteering initiatives, and was a pioneer Fellow of National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre’s Company of Good. A big part of that same purpose is to nurture purposeful talents, and cultivate companies that have better HR practices, culture and environment, because talents drive companies and successful companies help societies progress. To that end, Andrew is a certified Mental Well-Being Peer Supporter to help create healthier workplaces, and consults for companies with HR and People Leader gaps.
